Event description: "Come celebrate Open Educational Resources Week at the library! Also, find out more about the UM System grant opportunities for using Open Educational Resource (OER) and Affordable ebook options in your teaching (https://www.umsystem.edu/ums/aa/oer). In the workshop we will explore and learn how you can use these vetted peer-reviewed resources to enhance your teaching and learning. You will leave understanding how to find, adopt, adapt and create your own OER materials to supplant expensive textbooks. More than free textbooks, OER is an ecosystem of information at your fingertips. Light refreshments provided and opportunities to win some fabulous prizes."
