N1 - Self-concept literature supports the notion that how individuals perceive themselves can impact all phases of their lives. Mathematics attitudes and associated anxiety have been known to plague those with all socio-economic and diverse types of backgrounds. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of math attitudes on pre-service elementary school teachers' global self-concept.
