Teresa Balestreri

As Director of Career Services, Teresa Balestreri oversees the operation and mission of the office. Career Services assists students and recent graduates with planning, creating, implementing and evaluating career development and job search strategies by working in partnership with employers and the campus community. Emphasis is placed on career development, high impact educational experiences and the success of upcoming and recent graduates.This is accomplished through individual appointments, campus outreach, employer and career events, on-campus interviews, workshops, career fairs and related special programming. Emphasis is also placed on employer relations and facilitating connections of employers to students and recent graduates. Teresa brings over 25 years experience in higher education and has served as the Director of Career Services at UMSL since 2003.
