Polich earned a PhD in ecology, evolution and organismal biology from Iowa State University in 2017 and has taught introductory biology, evolution, ecology, zoology, and anatomy and physiology – human and otherwise – at Iowa State, Gonzaga University and Rocky Mountain College. Her research and publications are focused on vertebrate physiology and anatomy.
