About
Michael Fix of the University of Missouri-St. Louis, Missouri (UMSL) has expertise in volcanoes, and his research interests are paleontology, dinosaurs, and general geology. He is vice chairman of the Missouri Ozark Dinosaur Project which is a 501C3 tax exempt not-for-profit corporation that supervises the excavation and conservation of dinosaur and other fossils at the Chronister site in southeast Missouri, the only know dinosaur site in the state and one of the most important dinosaur sites in the eastern United States. The Missouri Ozark Dinosaur Project works with the Chicago Field Museum and Professor Peter Makovicky of the University of Minnesota.
