About

Melissa Ehmke, DNP, RN, CLC is currently an assistant teaching professor and the director of the Nursing Learning Resource and Simulation Center (NLRSC) for the College of Nursing at the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL). She has over twenty years of experience in multiple healthcare educational settings. Ehmke has a strong background in simulation lab facilitation, educational methodologies, community education, and leadership. In addition to her simulation lab duties, she has special interests in women’s health and community. She is a current member of Sigma Theta Tau, INACSL, and SSH, along with certification as a lactation counselor and CPR instructor.
