Stitler earned her PhD at UMSL in 2017 after an earlier master’s degree in nursing education. She has worked in a number of clinical and didactic education programs creating policy and curricular innovations as well as program refinements. Her early extensive work in public health led to her study of “The Effectiveness of Combined Appointments and Influenza Immunization Rates in a Rural WIC Population” and she has a number of publications in the area of public health.
