Kyle Thomas received his Ph.D. in criminology and criminal justice from the University of Maryland in 2014. His research focuses on the influence that peers have on the etiology of delinquent behavior with a current focus on how the normative influence of friends affects the types of crimes adolescents commit. He is also interested in how the presence of others influences individual decision-making, measurement of theoretical constructs, and quantitative methods.
