About
Stewart-Perkins earned her BSN at UMSL and her master’s in nursing education from the University of Missouri–Columbia. Her nursing expertise is in both adult and pediatric health, primarily critical care. She has worked as a staff nurse, charge nurse, nurse educator and nurse manager and is passionate about student success and at-risk students. She has been teaching in the academic setting since 2015 and has been an adjunct instructor in the College of Nursing since 2019..
