About

Kenneth Anderson is Professor of Art at the University of Missouri, St. Louis.  He received his BFA from Washington University and his MFA from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. He has taught studio classes in Painting and Drawing, as well as art history classes in the Arts of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas.  As head of Painting, he was instrumental in establishing the BFA Degree Program at UMSL.  Ken is an abstract painter, sculptor, and mixed media artist who has been an active exhibitor for 40 years.  Many of those years include creating and exhibiting collaborate artworks with artist Kate Anderson. Ken has participated in over 200 documented exhibitions.  These exhibits were a mixture of international expositions, national and international competitions, invitational exhibits, and solo and group shows at various venues including museums, universities and galleries. His artwork is included in over 70 public and corporate collections.
