About

Kellyn Holliday is an Assistant Teaching Professor, the Assistant Director of Field Education and the Live-Virtual Coordinator.  She teaches research and practicum seminar courses, manages the BSW practicum program and provides support to our Live-Virtual program. She received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis and her BSW from UMSL.

Professor Holliday has more than 10+ years of working and consulting with public housing authorities and non-profits on various matters such as grant writing, program evaluation, organizational funding, board creation and oversight, and compliance with HUD rules and regulations. She also has extensive knowledge in the affordable housing sector, including Housing Choice Voucher (HCV), Public Housing (PH), Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), and others. She has secured over $5 million dollars in grants for programs for assessing the needs of residents of the conventional Public Housing or Indian housing for the ROSS Service Coordinator Grant.

She is a board member of the Circle of Care and a member of the Florissant Vallent Citizens Participation Committee and also serves as a member of the PreventEd Advisory Board. In 2017, she was awarded the BFL Star Award from Better Family Life.

Professor Holliday holds memberships with the American Evaluation Association (AEA), Evaluation Association of St. Louis(Eval STL), Grant Professionals Association (GPA), and the Society of Social Work Researchers (SSWR).

She is mom to a wonderful young adult and loves to read and collect plants.
