Joseph S. Martinich is Professor Emeritus of Supply Chain and Analytics at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He received his Ph.D. in industrial engineering and management sciences from Northwestern University. As of 2014, Martinich has been certified as a Zero Waste Business Associate (by USGBC) and as a zero waste TRUE Advisor (by GBCI). He has also taken CERT training in order to prepare for disasters.
