About

Annah Bender is an Assistant Professor of Social Work at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She earned her MSW from the University of Michigan in 2008, her PhD from the Brown School at Washington University in 2015, and a postdoctoral fellowship at Washington University's Department of Psychiatry (Alcohol Research Lab) in 2016. Substantive research topics include intimate partner violence, trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder, and the intersection of trauma and substance use disorders. Methodological interests include person-centered analyses and mixed/multiple method designs.
