About

Dr. Hupman earned her Ph.D. at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2015 before joining the faculty at UMSL as an assistant professor of business analytics. She also holds as M.S. degree from the University of Illinois and a B.S. degree from Northwestern University. Her research interests include decision making under uncertainty, predictive modeling and uncertainty quantification, and applications of data analysis to business. She is particularly interested in understanding the value of information and leveraging insights from data for improved decision making within organizations.
