Dr. Alice Lee-Yoon is an Assistant Professor in the Global Leadership and Management Department at the University of Missouri - St. Louis. She earned her Ph.D. in Business Administration from UCLA Anderson School of Management in 2024, specializing in organizational behavior. Her dissertation explored how time-based rewards can improve psychological wellbeing by fostering a sense of humanization among employees, whereas monetary rewards may inadvertently reduce wellbeing by driving employees to prioritize work-related relationships over personal ones in pursuit of financial goals. Her research has been published in leading academic journals, including Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes and Current Opinion in Psychology. Her work has also been featured in media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal and Harvard Business Review. Dr. Lee-Yoon teaches courses related to International Management and Organizational Behavior.
